Zac Posen, known for his sophisticated, glamorous aesthetic and exquisite attention to construction and detail just released his 2024 Resort Collection.
His designs are often seen on the red carpet (Gigi Hadid was seen wearing a Zac Posen gown at the Cannes Film Festival 2023) and are a favorite among the fashion elite. From 2014 until 2020, he served as the creative director for Brooks Brothers women’s collection, where he modernized classic American sportswear with a touch of his signature glamour. He has also collaborated with Target and David’s Bridal, making his designs more accessible to a wider audience.
His upcoming Zac Posen Resort 2024 collection draws inspiration from the otherworldly beauty of water landscapes and the mesmerizing interplay between light and reflections. The color story is a study of the contrasting magic hours, from dawn to dusk and sunrise to sunset. Colorblocking is featured in timeless, classic silhouettes with contrasting combinations to reinforce the chromatic dichotomy of this season’s palette.
The collection brings to life the captivating, sparkling reflections of aquatic landscapes through undulating seam lines and fluid shimmering fabrications such as metallic chiffon, satin, and fringed sequins. Airy, cascading layers of delicate lace, tulle and metallic chiffon embody the core ethos of the Zac Posen brand, lending a graceful, ethereal presence as the garments move with the body.
