Five people recently said goodbye to their less than ideal work from home conditions—from hunching over the kitchen bar to sitting at an uninspiring plastic folding table to having their knees pressed against a dresser-turned-workstation.
The “Step Up Your Setup” contest from Kimball and Etc. upgraded five US winners’ home offices, giving them new and much improved desks, chairs, and more.
“Your home is not designed for work; it’s designed for life. Consumers want solutions that enrich their lives and their home,” says Wendy Murray, vice president of brand marketing for workplace under Kimball International. “Etc. work from home products are stylish, trendy, and won’t break the budget. In addition, they ship directly to the home and are easy to install.”
The contest awarded winners their choice of one of three desks, one of three office chairs, one of three storage units, and one of two power units for a complete office. More than 400 people entered the contest, presented by Kimball and Etc.
