You’ve probably seen the work of Jean Jullien before. He’s a prolific French graphic designer and illustrator, and this is his first monograph. It’s fantastic fun.
Jean organized this book into three sections: the personal, the collaborative, and the public. There’s an afterword by Sarah Andelman, the founder of Colette, who you either love because she’s so creative and influential or envy for the same reasons. “His creations are always playful, always clever, always a hidden wink inside an earnest artistic expression,” she writes. “I wish we could all see the world through Jean’s eyes.”
