It was only natural for lifestyle brand Buster + Punch to venture into pet products, considering, as founder Massimo Buster Minale says, so many of us have been spending a lot of time with our four-legged friends during the pandemic. It was time, he says, for an “ode to dogs.”

So in August 2020 Buster + Punch introduced its new Dog Collar + Leash.

Each hand-crafted collar is studded with solid metal coin screws and a pendant in their signature diamond-cut, cross-knurl pattern that can be screwed open to store your dog’s important details.

Massimo designed the fun and fanciful collar on a sketch pad while sitting in London’s Hyde Park. “With lots of dog collars on the market, we wanted this collar and leash to be very ‘Buster + Punch,’” he says. “Your dog will be sure to stand out from the crowd, or at least the park, since we’re social distancing, of course.”

Three Design Details

The durable collection has metal accents available in stainless steel or solid brass. The matching leash comes with a solid metal carabiner fastener.

2. Soft to the Touch

The outside is finished in black buffalo leather and gently embossed with the brand pattern. The inside is made from super soft cow leather, naturally stained in purple.

3. The Color of Royalty

Purple is the brand’s new accent color. “On your dog’s neck the purple is very subtle and gives a nice accent, which you don’t see on other monochrome collars.”
